Born October 27, 1930, in Van Horn, she was a longtime nurse, having worked at U.S. military hospitals at locations throughout Europe. Survivors include her son, John L. Brad Nelson officiating. Welch Funeral Home, 4619 Judson Road, is in charge of arrangements. Ms. Boehm Wolf passed away in the early morning hours of November 6, 2006, due to various medical complications. She was born October 27, 1930, in Van Horn, Texas, to Gordon G. Gooch and Cora L. Gooch. She had one sibling, Marcell Audette Fitzgerald, who preceded Ms. Boehm Wolf in death in 2000. She graduated from the Radford School for Girls, the oldest private school in El Paso, Texas, and then attended and graduated from Hotel Dieu School of Nursing in El Paso, Texas. Ms. Boehm Wolf later graduated with an advanced nursing degree from San Jose State University in 1977. She practiced nursing for more than 30 years, providing comfort and kindness to countless patients. Her nursing career also included service as a nurse at U.S. military hospitals at locations throughout Europe. She married John L. Boehm in 1953, and enjoyed a wonderful marriage until Mr. Boehm passed away in 1993. Doris and John raised two fine children, Rustee and John L. Jr. She later married Charles Wolf in 1998, and was married to Mr. Wolf until his passing in 2000. She is survived by her two children: her son and his wife, John L. Boehm and Eileen of Albuquerque, New Mexico; and her daughter and her husband, Rustee and Ed Bellandi of San Jose, California. She is also survived by her granddaughters, Debbie Boehm and Jenny Boehm; and her grandson and his wife, John L. Boehm and Elizabeth.
