Woodruff, Michael Kent 
  	
Services for Michael Kent Woodruff, of Gladewater, will 
be at 10 a.m. Thursday, January 11, 2007, at Lakeview 
Memorial Gardens, with Ron Peacock officiating. Mr. 
Woodruff passed away Monday, January 8, 2007, at his home. 
He was born November 9, 1946, in Wellston, Ohio. He married 
Irene Perkins on December 5, 1968. He was retired from 
Hanson Pipe Co. Mr. Woodruff is survived by his wife of 38 
years, Irene of Gladewater; sons, Richard Perkins of 
Gladewater, and Scott Litchfield and daughter-in-law, Jennie 
of Palestine; daughters, Evelyn Smith of Longview, and Tess 
Pierce and son-in-law, Scott of Longview; brother-in-law, 
Bob Green; and sister-in-law, Juanita Green of Gladewater. 
He is also survived by two great-grandchildren, Tysen and 
Alexis Pierce of Longview; and eight grandchildren, Lauren 
Perkins, Jeremiah Smith, Mikie Pierce, Chris Smith, Dusty 
Pierce, Jimmy Smith, Summer Pierce, and Brooke Perkins, all 
of Longview. Mr. Woodruff is also survived by his four best 
friends, Buttercup, Foxy, Lucky, and Cocoa, all of Gladewater. 
His brothers, Dick and sister-in-law, Carol Woodruff, and Bob 
Woodruff; sisters, Dixie Osborne and Susie Coon, all of 
Wellston, Ohio; and numerous nieces and nephews also survive 
him. Mr. Woodruff will be greatly missed by all of his friends
