Wyche, Robert Duke Funeral services for Robert Duke Wyche, 82, of Flint, formerly of Longview, will be at 4 p.m. Friday, June 8, 2007, at the chapel of Rader Funeral Home, 1617 Judson Road, Longview, with hospice Chaplain David Reeder officiating. Mr. Wyche was born May 12, 1925, in Shreveport, La., to Eugene and Alice Duke Wyche. He was a graduate of Coushatta, La. High School and attended LSU in Baton Rouge, La. He served his country in the U.S. Navy as radioman second class. Mr. Wyche was employed by the Great American Reserve/Conseco Insurance Co. for 38 years and enjoyed fishing and golfing. Mr. Wyche is survived by his loving wife, Ethel Gibbons Wyche of Flint; son and daughter-in-law, Roger D. Wyche and Wendy Wyche of Coppell; son and daughter-in-law, Reed Chandler and Anna Chandler of Los Angeles, Calif.; and cousin, L.B. Duke and wife, Peggy of Houston. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to Hospice of East Texas or to a charity of your choice. Family visitation will be at 3 p.m. Friday, prior to services.
