Wylie, Helen Langford KILGORE - Services for Helen Wylie, 91, of Kilgore, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 11, 2007, at the First Presbyterian Church, with the Reverend Dr. William J. Ingersoll and the Reverend Roberta Dodds Ingersoll officiating. Burial will be in the Buckner Cemetery of Pine Hill, Texas. Mrs. Wylie went to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 7, 2007, in Kilgore, Texas. She was born September 14, 1915, in Celina, Texas. Mrs. Wylie was a schoolteacher and a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Kilgore. She was the 1991 First Lady of Kilgore. Mrs. Wylie is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Tom and Donna Wylie of Lexington, Virginia, Bill and Lynn Wylie of Kilgore and David and Jan Wylie of Kilgore; son-in-law, Ronnie Lanier and his wife, Melinda of Smithville, Texas; two grandsons, T.J. Wylie and his wife, Michele of Annapolis, Maryland and Andrew Wylie of New York City; five granddaughters, Kim Stone of Orlando, Florida, Katie Wylie and her fiancé, Jimmy Aboussie of Wichita Falls, Texas, Allison Hennigan, M.D. and her husband, Bart of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Johanna Hardy and her husband, Jonathan of Austin, Texas and Emily Lanier and her fiancé, Josiah Williams of Houston, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Buckner Wylie; a daughter, Linda Wylie Lanier; four sisters, Florence Langford, Ph.D., Eloise L. Conner, Martha L. Clay and Mary L. Barnett.
