Letha Marie Walker

Letha Marie Walker, 65, born June 15, 1942, in Longview, to Cam and Evelyn Bryant, passed 
into eternal rest on April 14, 2008, in Longview.

Letha was a respiratory therapist and had worked for many years at Good Shepherd Medical 
Center, Longview Regional Medical Center and for Crest Care. Mrs. Walker loved her patients 
so much, that she never missed work, even when she was taking treatments of her own. Letha 
loved to play bingo and would play every chance that she had, but most of all, she loved her 
husband, her children and her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her mother; and a sister, Barbara Ann Brooks.

She is survived by her father; her loving husband of 48 years, Jackie Walker; sons, James 
Walker, Stacy Walker and Jerry Walker; daughters-in-law, Dixie Walker, Patty Walker and Dena 
Walker; grandchildren, Mark, Austin, Laci, Cody, Sam, Max and Tyler Walker; sister, Sandra 
Gaye Taylor; brother, Kenneth Wayne Bryant; as well as nieces, nephews and other loving 
family members.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today, April 18, 2008, at Lakeview Funeral Home, with 
the Rev. Jim Rust officiating. Interment will follow in Memory Park Cemetery of Longview. All 
services are under the direction of Lakeview Funeral Home.
