Westmoreland, Thomas Delbert   	

HENDERSONVILLE, N.C. - Thomas Delbert Westmoreland, 92, passed away on May 19, 
2007, at his home in Hendersonville, North Carolina.

Mr. Westmoreland was born April 24, 1915, in Vivian, Louisiana. He was a decorated 
U.S. Army veteran of World War II, having served in North Africa and Italy. He was 
a resident of Longview for more than 30 years, having attended LeTourneau College 
and worked at LeTourneau, Inc. until his retirement in 1981. He and his wife, 
Marguerite, raised three sons who graduated from Judson High School.

Mr. Westmoreland was preceded in death by his son, Don, in 1982; and his wife, 
Marguerite, in 1984.

He is survived by his wife, Theresa of Hendersonville, North Carolina; his son, 
Tommy and wife, Martha of Conroe, Texas; his son, Bob and wife, Sharyn of Austin, 
Texas; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

His U.S. Army veteran's marker will be placed at the foot of his son, Don's grave 
site in Lakeview Memorial Gardens of Longview, Texas.
