White, William Mack William Mac White, 73, of Longview, died Thursday, August 30, 2007, at a local hospital. He was born December 31, 1933, in Kilgore, to William and Mary White. William was an electrician by trade and retired from Woodard Electric, with many years of faithful service. He was an avid golfer and fisherman and loved to hunt. William was also a member of the East Texas Senior Golf Association and past president of the White Oak Bass Club. Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 55 years, Jo Helen White; sons, David White and wife, Tammy, and Jeff White; five grandchildren, D.J. White and wife, Lauren, Shirley Grubbs and husband, Shawn and Justin, Brittany, and Samantha White; three great-grandchildren, Mason, Abby and Brooke; brothers, Richard White and wife, Evelyn, and Van Dean White and wife, Katie; and sisters, Barbara Nell Sammons and husband, Eddie, Mary Lee Uhler and husband, Jim, Peggy Bennett, Alice Lucas and husband, James, and Nancy Ballard and husband, Cyril. William will also be missed by numerous nieces; nephews; and special friends. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday , September 2, 2007, at the Center Presbyterian Church in Elderville. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Center Presbyterian Church in Elderville.
