Services for Jean Wood, 70, of Longview, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, September 5, 2007, at 
Rader Funeral Home Chapel of Longview at 1617 Judson Road, with Pastor Melvin Sumrall 
officiating. Ms. Wood died September 2, 2007, at a local medical center.

She was born March 6, 1937, in McAllen. Survivors include her children, Janine Silva, Keith 
Werner and Gary Werner; brothers, Tom Rigney, Lloyd Rigney Jr., John Rigney and James Rigney; 
and sisters, Roselea Wince, Jackie Kaufman, Denise Irving, Helen Hughes and Patty Velez. 
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Services for Jean Wood, 70, of Longview, will be at 10 a.m. today, September 5, 2007 at 
the chapel of Rader Funeral Home of Longview, with Pastor Melvin Sumrall officiating.

Jean Wood went to the Lord on Sunday, September, 2, 2007, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born March 6, 1937, in McAllen. Jean will be remembered as a woman who lived life 
to the fullest. She was a real people person who never meet a stranger and adored children. 
She was also a member of the Rebekkahs.

She was preceded in death by her son, Bruce Wisdom; and her parents, Lloyd and Lucille 
Rigney.

She is survived by her children, Janine Silva, Keith Werner and Gary Werner; and siblings, 
Tom Rigney, Rosela Wince, Jackie Kaufman, Lloyd Rigney Jr., Denise Irving, Helen Hughes, 
John Rigney, James Rigney and Patty Velez. Also left to cherish her memory are her niece 
and nephew, Suzanne and Aaron Scott; and numerous other nieces, nephews, grandchildren, 
and great-grandchildren. Jean's extended family included the Scotts; and special friends, 
Elizabeth Rio's family.

The family wishes to send a special thank you to Dr. Elhawagi, Dr. Scott, Heart'sWay 
Hospice, and the staff of Good Shepherd Medical Center.

The family received friends from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday evening, September 4, 2007, at the 
funeral home.
