Woods, Pearl   	
 
Funeral services for Pearl Woods, 88, formerly of Longview, will be held at 11 a.m. 
Friday, October 26, 2007, at Welch Funeral Home in Longview.

Pearl was born February 28, 1919, in Baird. She lived in Longview for 44 years prior 
to moving to Herndon, Virginia, where she resided for the past five years. She was 
married to Edward Woods for 49 years. He died in 1994.

Pearl was active in church. She loved her family very much, and she also loved 
gardening.

Pearl is survived by her four daughters, Sharon Booth of Mexia, Ann Maynard of 
Richardson, Ellen Frantz of Centreville, Virginia, and Margaret McDonald of 
Alexandria, Virginia. She also has seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. 
She is also survived by one brother, Howard Cook of Ocean Shores, Washington.
