Woodward, Michael Allen CARTHAGE - Funeral services for Michael Allen Woodward, 49, of Longview, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, October 19, 2007, at Hawthorn Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Dale Reed officiating. Interment will follow in Liberty Chapel Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Hawthorn Funeral Home. Mr. Woodward died Tuesday, October 16, 2007, in Longview. Michael Allen Woodward was born November 15, 1957, in Shreveport, Louisiana. He was the youngest of five sons born to the marriage of Wilbur and Artie Anzo Woodward. He graduated from Fairpark High School and L.S.U. Shreveport, attaining an associates of science degree. Michael received his certificate of radiology training from B.B.C.C. and Kilgore Junior College. Mr. Woodard loved collecting and restoring jukeboxes, and he loved coaching little league baseball. His third and most expensive child was his 1959 Impala. Michael was a devoted family man to his wife and children and a friend to so many. He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Wayne and Gary Woodward. Survivors include his wife, Christi Woodward of Longview; and their children, Amanda and Cody. He is also survived by his brothers, Rex Woodward and wife, Lorrene of Shreveport, Louisiana, and Greg Woodward and wife, Cathy of Bossier City, Louisiana; car talking buddies, Tony Cothron, Robert Williams, Shane Stewart, Ervin Reed and Todd Malone; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of friends. Serving as pallbearers will be Shane Stewart, Tony Cothron, Shawn Woodward, Shane Woodward, Shannon Woodward, Todd Malone, Ervin Reed and Robert Williams.
