DANVILLE CEMETERY - GREGG COUNTY Ware, Lee KILGORE - Graveside services for Lee Ware, 87, of Kilgore, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, February 28, 2008, at the Danville Cemetery, with the Reverend Buddy Duggins officiating. Mrs. Ware died Tuesday, February 26, 2008, in Kilgore. She was born January 12, 1921, Arab, Alabama. Mrs. Ware, a 1939 graduate of Kilgore High School. She went to work as a telephone operator for General Telephone Co. in 1946, and she retired as a supervisor in 1979. She was a longtime member of the Forest Home Baptist Church where she was a member of the Lydia Sunday School Class. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jay Ware. Mrs. Ware is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Jimmy and Joyce Ware of Longview; a sister, Geneva Page of Atlanta, Georgia; four grandchildren, Kim Sharp and her husband, Rex of White Oak, Craig Ware and his wife, Melanie of White Oak, Jeff Head of Longview, and Shannon Head of Longview; seven great-grandchildren, Blake Ware of White Oak, Connor Sharp of White Oak, Tanner Sharp of White Oak, Preston Ware of White Oak, Megan Head of Longview, Tera Head of Longview, and Hunter Head of Longview; and numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial contributions may be made to the Forest Home Baptist Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 1340, Kilgore, TX 75663.
