SMITH COUNTY - FRIENDSHIP CEMETERY


Services for Paul Phillip Yates, 65, of Jacksonville, will be 2 p.m. Saturday, February 7, 2009, at Croley Funeral Home Chapel in Gladewater, with the Rev. Donald Puckett officiating. Burial will be in Friendship Cemetery. Mr. Yates died February 5, 2009.

Born March 29, 1943, in Houston, he was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in Vietnam. Survivors include his wife, Beckey Yates; sons, Rowdy Lynn Yates and Dock Lucas Yates; brothers, Bobby Yates and John David Yates; and sister, Joy Nell White.
