Yosenick, Joetta "Jo" Joetta "Jo" Yosenick, 79, of White Oak, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 2, 2007. She had been hospitalized at Good Shepherd Medical Center. She was born in Huron, Atchison County, Kansas, the daughter of Joseph and Cassie Lowe Fulk, and one of nine children. She married Howard A. Hinton on January 2, 1949, and settled in Longview in the early 1950s. She was employed by Safeway Stores Inc. for 29 years, having retired in 1985. She became widowed in 1980. She was remarried to Pete Yosenick in the summer of 1981. Her friends and family appreciated her sense of humor and warm, loving nature. Jo is survived by her sisters, Maxine Gormley, Evelyn Larson and Ruthanne Tilton; stepdaughters, Mary Hinton Sauer and Ruth Hinton Chisnall; stepsons, Pete Yosenick, Ken Yosenick, Bob Yosenick and Jay Yosenick; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Visitation will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday, September 5, 2007, at White Oak United Methodist Church, followed by a service at 4 p.m. Graveside services will be Monday, September 10, 2007, at Hiawatha Cemetery in Hiawatha, Kansas. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to White Oak United Methodist Church, American Lung Association, or American Cancer Society.
