Young, B.D.   	

B.D. Young, 82, of Longview, passed away May 1, 2007, in Longview.

He was born April 15, 1925, in Vernon, to Robert and Pearl Wedge Young. 
Mr. Young was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and owned and operated Young's 
Tire Service in Longview for many years. He was also a member of Greggton 
First Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father; one brother ; and two 
grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Helen Bozarth Young of Longview; 
two sons, Michael Young and his wife, Barbara of Kilgore and John Young 
of Tyler; one daughter, Diane Burton and her husband, Larry of Rowlette; 
two sisters, Nadine Causey of Gilmer and Mildred Campbell of Irving; eight 
grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, May 4, 2007, at Greggton First 
Baptist Church, with the Rev. Bobby Moore officiating. Burial will follow 
in Lakeview Memorial Gardens.

Memorial contributions may be made to the building fund at Greggton First 
Baptist Church, 4520 W. Marshall Ave., Longview, TX 75604.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. this evening, May 3, 2007, 
at Lakeview Funeral Home.
