Pep Squad - 1936

Leaders:
Junior Carney
Lois Scott
Nettie Green
Raymond Sourlock

Mascot:
Marcia Lee Edwards

Have you ever noticed that group of delicately uniformed girls in a corner of the grandstand on the north side of the stadium?  Have you ever noticed what lovely looking lasses they were?  Do you remember your surprise when you found out what strong lungs belonged to this same group?  Indeed, the Pep Squad this year has been a most unusual combination of attractive appearance, likeable personality, and amazingly loud voices - - each member a good sport, a happy but humble winner, a good loser, a true and loyal supporter of the team and the school.

The adopted program at the beginning of the school year for the Squad has been to improve marching and to find or to originate new songs and yells.  Although the goal hasn't quite been reached, the group hopes to begin a peppy, happy, and altogether grand season next year.
