March 12, 1917-November 09, 1989 ALVIS SULLIVAN Services for Alvis "Shorty-Snake" Sullivan, 72, of Longview were Saturday at Rader Funeral Home with Rev. Kenneth Mills officiating. Burial was in Memory Park Cemetery. Mr. Sullivan died Thursday. He was a native of DeKalb and moved to Longview in 1950. He was a member of the Woodland Hills Baptist Church and was a truck driver and maintenance department worker for Texas Eastman Co. Survivors include his wife, Marie: sons, Boyce of Longview and Charles of Terrell: sisters, Pluma Dee Tutt and Dorothy Ancong, both of Dallas, Margaret Cathy of Caddo, Oklahoma., and Allie Armstrong of Tyler: five grandchildren; a stepgrandson; 10 great-grandchildren; and two stepgreat-grandchildren.
