the World unveiling marker of D.A. Webb at Center Cemetery - 1910".
Thanks to Pat Webb, grandchild of D A Webb, for this information on the picture.

The rows are in alphabetical order, from east to west.  The list of names is made along the rows, from north to south.  There are many graves without markers, so please remember that only the names, where markers are in place, are to be found in the list.  The list by rows is also available at the Harrison County Historical Museum Research Library.  Contact a volunteer at museum@shreve.net for more information.

The land on which Center Cemetery is located, was first given to the Supt. of Public Instruction and his successors in office, for public free schools, in October of 1888, by J. A. Starr.  In March, 1891, the land was sold by the Supt. of Public Instruction to the Methodist Episcopal Church South membership.

Many thanks to Linda and Bill Mobley, for making this information available to Harrison County researchers.  Please contact them for further information.
