Alexander, Walter L. MARSHALL -- Services for Walter L. Alexander, 80, of Marshall, will be 11 a.m. today, January 30, 2007, at Colonial Chapel of Sullivan-Heaster Funeral Home, with the Rev. Kenneth Franklin officiating. Interment will be in Algoma Cemetery South. Mr. Alexander died January 28, 2007, in Marshall. Born April 7, 1926, in Marshall, he was a U.S. Navy veteran, having served during World War II, retired from Southwestern Bell, and member of Memorial Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Mary F. Alexander; sons, Robert Alexander and David Alexander; daughters, Sherry Jackson and Jan Morris; brother, Wallace Alexander; and sister, Nancy Roper.
