Allen Sr., Richard

MARSHALL -- Services for Richard Allen Sr., 85, of Marshall, will 
be 11 a.m. Saturday, November 25, 2006, at New Bethel Baptist 
Church, with the Rev. Steve L. Miller officiating. Burial will be 
in Union Chapel Cemetery of Waskom. Arrangements are by Lewis 
Funeral Home. Mr. Allen was born February 26, 1921, in Jonesville, 
and he died November 18, 2006, in Longview. He was a member of 
American Legion No. 878. Survivors include his wife, Jessie Allen; 
and sons, Richard Allen Jr. and Ray E. Allen.
