Apple I, Gene

MARSHALL - Memorial services for Gene Apple I, 70, of Karnack, will be 
at 10 a.m. today, May 10, 2007, at Church of Uncertain in Uncertain, 
with Joe Chisum officiating. Arrangements are by Sullivan-Heaster 
Funeral Home. Mr. Apple died May 5, 2007, in Karnack.

Born June 15, 1936, in Keysport, Ill., he was a U.S. Navy veteran, 
having served as a flight engineer, and member of the Fleet Reserve 
and Church of the Nazarene. Survivors include his wife, Wanda Anne 
Guthrie Apple; son, Burl Gene Apple II; daughters, Annette Unkle and 
Pam Pilkerton; and sister, Patsy Porter.
