Butler, Roy D.

MARSHALL -- Services for Roy D. Butler, 77, of Marshall, 
will be 2 p.m. Friday, January 5, 2007, at First Assembly 
of God, with the Rev. Michael Richard officiating. 
Interment will be in Colonial Gardens Cemetery. 
Arrangements are by Sullivan-Heaster Funeral Home. Mr. 
Butler died January 2, 2007, in Marshall. Born September 
21, 1929, in Henderson, he was a U.S. Army veteran, 
ordained minister, and member of First Assembly of God 
Church. Survivors include his wife, Dana Ruth Hartsell 
Butler; daughter, Vickie Slaughter; brothers, Robert Lee 
Barton and Richard Earl Barton; and sister, Shirley Mae
