Champion, John Wyatt

MARSHALL -- Services for John Wyatt Champion, 32, of Marshall, 
will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, January 31, 2007, in the chapel of 
Downs Funeral Home, with the Rev. Dick Sawyer officiating. 
Interment will follow in Elysian Fields Cemetery. Mr. Champion 
died January 28, 2007, at his residence. Born September 4, 1974, 
in Marshall, he was a Marshall High School graduate, former 
Woodlawn Manufacturing employee, and a Baptist. Survivors 
include his father, Andrew Wyatt Champion Jr.; brother, Andrew 
Darion Champion; and sister, Angel Champion McCarty. Visitation 
will be 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
