Cathey Sr., Jesse Marion

Memorial services for Jesse Marion Cathey Sr., 81, of Longview, formerly of Marshall, 
will be at 10 a.m. today, August 30, 2007, at Piney Cemetery in Harleton, with Brother 
Craig Evers officiating. Cremation arrangements are by East Texas Funeral Home. Mr. 
Cathey died August 27, 2007, at a local hospital.

Born March 13, 1926, in Sasche, he was a U.S. Navy veteran and avid hunter and fisherman. 
Survivors include his sons, Marion Arthur Donaghue, Thomas Loyd Cathey and Jesse Marion 
Cathey Jr.; and daughters, Quanah Sue Licorni, Debra Chapa, Tommie Lee Nicholis, B.B. 
Anderson and Jimmie Dale Cathey.
