Davis, Jerry Wayne MARSHALL - Services for Jerry Wayne Davis, 62, of Marshall, will be at 4 p.m. Sunday, August 26, 2007, at Downs Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. David Rice officiating. Interment will follow in Colonial Gardens Cemetery. Mr. Davis died August 23, 2007, in Marshall. Born July 1, 1945, in Marshall, he was a pipeliner for Local No. 798, member of American Legion No. 267 and a Baptist. Survivors include his wife, Elease Goode Davis; mother, Nellrene Holt; daughters, Angie McTee, Jerri Lynn Watkins, Jennifer Hayes and Dusti Huffman; brother, Larry W. Davis; and sister, Juana Boone. He was a pipeliner for Local No. 798 and a Baptist. Jerry was a member of the American Legion No. 267 and was football fan, especially of the Texas Longhorns. He is survived by his wife, Elease Goode Davis of Marshall; mother, Nellrene Holt of Marshall; four daughters and sons-in-law, Angie and Joe McTee of Longview, Jeri Lynn and Jason Watkins of Longview, Jennifer and Duane Hayes of Marshall and Dusti and Jeremy Huffman of Marshall; one brother, Larry W. Davis and wife, Mitzi, of Marshall; two sisters, Twilla Simmons and husband, David, of Marshall and Juana Boone and husband, James, also of Marshall; grandchildren, Jaron McTee, Brennan Watkins, Jaci Watkins, Jared Hayes, Dustan Hayes, Lexi Hayes, Brandon Davis-Jones and Rhyleigh Simmons; five stepgrandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
