Echols, John T. 


MARSHALL -- Services for John T. Echols, 89, of Karnack, will 
be 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 20, 2006, at the Colonial Chapel of 
Sullivan-Heaster Funeral Home with Bro. Norman Crisp officiating. 
Interment will follow in Colonial Gardens Cemetery in Marshall 
with military honors. Mr. Echols died June 17, 2006, in Shreveport, 
La. Born October 11, 1919, in Ranger, he served in the U.S. Air 
Force for 28 years before retiring in 1970 as a lieutenant colonel. 
Survivors include his wife, Jo Ann Echols; sons, Terry and David 
Echols; and sister, Sylvia Echols.
