MARSHALL -- Services for Jerry Eldridge, 38, of Marshall, will 
be 2 p.m. Thursday, July 6, 2006, at Immanuel Baptist Church, 
with the Rev. Carlton Burris and Brother Leon Veasy officiating. 
Arrangements are by Sullivan-Heaster Funeral Home. Mr. Eldridge 
died July 4, 2006, in Longview. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. today 
at the funeral home.

Eldridge, Jerry 


MARSHALL -- Services for Jerry Eldridge, 38, of Marshall, will 
be 2 p.m. Thursday, July 6, 2006, at Immanuel Baptist Church in 
Marshall, with the Rev. Carlton Burris and the Rev. Leon Veasy 
officiating. Interment will follow in Colonial Gardens Cemetery. 
Arrangements are under the direction of Sullivan-Heaster Funeral 
Home. Mr. Eldridge died July 4, 2006, in Longview. He was born 
June 22, 1968, in Marshall, to Jerry Ray Eldridge and Peggy 
Mayfield Eldridge Holmes. Mr. Eldridge graduated from Marshall 
schools. He was a manager for an apartment complex. Jerry was 
loved by everyone and will be greatly missed. Mr. Eldridge was 
preceded in death by his father, Jerry R. Eldridge; and his 
grandparents. He is survived by his parents, David and Peggy 
Holmes of Marshall; siblings, Dian and Randall Waldron of 
Longview, Charlene and Jimmie Hinton of Marshall, Pete Holmes 
and Karen of Westerville, Ohio, and Kimberly and Paul Ridgeway; 
a number of nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends. 
Pallbearers will be Kenny Gillihan, Sam Thompson, Don Jumper, 
Lance Mayfield, Kyle Mayfield, and Jeff Davidson. Memorial 
contributions may be made to Heart'sWay Hospice, 1306 Pine Tree 
Rd., Longview, TX 75604; or to the American Cancer Society, P.O. 
Box 1028, Marshall, TX 75671. The family would like to extend a 
special thank you to the staff at Good Shepherd Medical Center 
and also to his many friends.
