Ford, Ronald Keith 


MARSHALL -- Graveside services for Ronnie Ford, 60, of Hallsville, 
will be held 4 p.m. Sunday, September 24, 2006, at Colonial Gardens, 
under the direction of Downs Funeral Home of Marshall. Ronnie passed 
away Friday, September 22, 2006, after a long illness. He was born 
January 18, 1946, in Marshall, attended Marshall public schools, 
served in the U.S. Navy from 1964-1968, and was employed at Stroh's 
in Longview for many years. He was preceded in death by his parents, 
F.E. "Snooky" and Bette Jo Ford; and his son, Tye Stone. Survivors 
include his two sons, John Keith Ford of Lubbock, and Joshua Earl 
Ford of Hallsville; grandson, John Paul Ford of Lubbock; and three 
brothers and sisters-in-law, F.E. "Butch" and Colleen Ford of 
Longview, Michael "Bubba" and Rosalind Ford of Marshall, and Vic and 
Judy Ford of Marshall. Our family would like to express sincere 
appreciation to the staff of Overton Brooks V.A. Hospital in 
Shreveport, La., and Hospice of East Texas in Tyler for their 
support and care during Ronnie's long illness. Memorial contributions
