Gainous, Meredith Jerene

MARSHALL - Graveside services for Meredith Jerene Gainous, 82, of Marshall, will be Tuesday,
July 31, 2007, at San Joaquin National Cemetery of Gustino, Calif., with the Rev. Morgan 
Berry officiating. Arrangements are by Downs Funeral Home. Mrs. Gainous died July 22, 2007, 
in Marshall.

Born April 24, 1925, in Haskell, she was an L.V.N. Survivors include her sons, Darvin Truett 
Gainous, Delbert Lee Gainous, Wilbert Dee Gainous and Travis Gene Gainous; daughters, Tonis 
Jerene Paiva and Mary Gayle Hodges; brothers, Lisbon "Mac" McCown and Charles Ivan McCown; 
and sister, Vanita Gayle Fenton.
