Gibson, Dollie Faye Services for Dollie Faye Gibson, 94, of Hallsville, will be noon Monday, August 7, 2006, in the chapel of Rader Funeral Home with the Rev. Jeff Hastings officiating. Burial will follow in Hallsville Cemetery. Ms. Gibson passed away Friday in a local hospital. Services are under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. Faye was born in Rusk County on August 4, 1912. She had lived in Hallsville for more than 70 years and worked as a dietician for the Hallsville schools. She was a member of Hallsville United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clisto Gibson. Survivors include four daughters and sons-in-law, Nelwyn and James LaGrone of Hallsville, Harlene and Bobby Welch of Longview, Mildred and Jack Smythe of Rockport, Texas, and Gail and Gene Younger of Longview; son and daughter-in-law Curtis and Suzanne Gibson of Kingsland, Ga.; 13 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. The family would like to extend a special thanks to caregiver and sitter, Bobbie Schroeder, and special nephew, Eugene and Billie Jean Knight.
