Born in Camden, Arkansas on Sep. 12, 1921
Departed on Mar. 7, 2002 and resided in Longview, TX.

A rosary for Carl J. (Carlyle) Goodgame, 80, of Longview will be recited 7PM Sunday evening March 10, at the Rader Funeral Home Chapel, 1617 Judson Rd. and Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 A.M. Monday March 11 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church with Father Ben Smylie officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Park Cemetery. Mr. Goodgame died Thursday evening in a local hospital.

Mr. Goodgame was born September 12,1921 in Camden, Arkansas and had lived in Longview since 1931. He owned Carlyle Jewelers and was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus having reached the third and fourth degrees.

He is survived by two nephews, David B. Goodgame and James A. Goodgame both of Tyler; one niece Carol Goodgame of Dallas.

He was preceded in death by his parents Carlyle and Anna Goodgame, one brother, Paul Goodgame, one sister, Julie Croteau.
