Gordon, Dwight D. MARSHALL -- Dwight D. Gordon, 58, of Hallsville, Texas, born, November 6, 1948, in Corpus Christi, Texas, to Virdes and Zelma Gordon, died Thursday, February 22, 2007. Dwight, who was a self-employed electrician, loved to spend time hunting and fishing with his son, Seth. Dwight was a proud member of the U.S. Marine Corps and served during Vietnam. He enjoyed the outdoors, caring for his pets and helping friends. Dwight is survived by the mother of his children, Kay Gordon; daughter, Keri Gordon Neff and husband, Dean Neff; sister, Virdene Costello; aunt, Margie Bennie; and a number of close friends and relatives. Although gone, he was a beloved father and a friend to many. He will always be remembered and have a place in our hearts forever. The mother of his children loved him from the beginning and will until the end of time. His daughter will remember only the good times they shared with love in her heart. Dwight will be cremated and spread along with his son's remains in the mountains of New Mexico, where they spent some of their happiest days together. A memorial service will be held for family and close friends of Dwight's at noon today, February 28, 2007, at Harmony Baptist Church in Hallsville Texas.
