Hathaway, Lou Wallace PASADENA - Lou Wallace Hathaway, formerly of Longview, was born March 2, 1948, and she died suddenly March 28, 2007, in Houston. She grew up in the Gill Community and was a graduate of Elysian Fields High School. She was preceded in death by her beloved son, Josh; her identical twin and soul mate, Sue Wallace Bryant; and by her mother, Millie Grigsby Cranford. Her survivors include her sons, Robert and Douglas of Houston; brothers, Thomas Wallace of Panola and Jimmy Cranford of Shreveport, La.; sisters, Johnnie Crutchfield of Marshall and June and Alma Cranford; grandchildren, Samantha and J.W. Hathaway of Longview and Michelle and Madison Hathaway of Houston; and several nieces and nephews. Lou loved children, especially her precious grandchildren, and she enjoyed working in the day care environment. She also worked retail in the Longview area a number of years and made many special friends. After cremation, Lou's remains were buried with her sister, mother and son at Grange Hall Cemetery.
