Johnson, Ruby Jean Simmons 


MARSHALL -- Services for Ruby Jean Simmons Johnson, 95, of 
Lufkin, formerly of Marshall, will be 2 p.m. Sunday, July 30, 
2006, at Colonial Chapel of Sullivan-Heaster Funeral Home, 
with Philip Simmons officiating. Interment will follow in 
Colonial Gardens Cemetery. Mrs. Johnson died July 28, 2006, 
in Lufkin. Born March 28, 1911, in Hughes Springs, she was a 
devoted Christian, homemaker, and member of Herty Baptist 
Church. Survivors include her son, Roger Johnson; daughters, 
Sherry Johnson and Billie Marie Dickerson; and sister, Joan 
Schere.
