Keasler, Kenneth Henderson MARSHALL -- Funeral services for Kenneth Henderson Keasler, 79, of Hallsville, will be 10 a.m. Saturday, June 24, 2006, at the Colonial Chapel of Sullivan-Heaster Funeral Home of Marshall, with Dr. David Massey Sr. officiating. Burial will follow in the Noonday Cemetery north of Hallsville. Mr. Keasler passed away June 22, 2006, surrounded by the people he loved most, his family. He was born April 28, 1927, at the family home north of Hallsville, to Sydney J. Keasler and Emma Henderson Keasler. He graduated from Hallsville High School in 1946, and was a U.S. Army veteran. Mr. Keasler was a dairy farmer for 28 years and retired from Texas Eastman. He loved fishing, hunting, cattle raising, and visiting with his friends. Kenneth and Bobbie Jean Dickard Keasler were married in 1944 for 62 years, and raised four children together. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Jere June Keasler. Survivors include his wife; four children, Sydney Kenneth Keasler and wife, Gail, Robert Glenn Keasler, Jerry K. Keasler, and Bonnie Keasler; his brothers, Sydney J. and Dorothy Keasler, and J.K. and Jean Keasler; his five grandchildren, Monica Keasler, Rob and Tiffany Keasler, Tasha and Mike Nation, Tammy Boscom, and Jamie and David Huckaby; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Keasler's special friends include: Loy and Diddy Skinner, and Glen Elliott, all of Longview; Rocky Phillips, Tom Skidmore, Larry Phillips, and Neil Laird, all of Marshall; Don Pringle of Houston; David Newman of Harleton; Bob Anderson of Carthage; Betty Horaney and family of Longview; Raymond Shelton and family of Longview; his many friends and co-workers at Texas Eastman; Larry and Tammy Shinn, Melody Humphrey, caretaker at home; Anita Shirey, Raymond Miller, Kevin and Lynn Mohowald, and the Davita employees. Pallbearers will be Tom McCool, Louie Lunsford, Syd Keasler, David Huckaby, Rob Keasler, Ellis Crawford, Mike Nation, and Jim Lagrone. Honorary pallbearers will be Willie Stevens, Zell Stevens, Bob Adams, Bart Owen, David Ballet, Tommy Pool, Shelton Cain, James Greer, Gregg Greer, Tom Hunt, Howard Hunt, Howard M. Hunt, Larry Smith, Clyde "Babe" Dickard, and Greg Wyatt. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Reddy, Dr. Sloan, Dr. Edwards, Dr. Gregory, Dr. Henry, Dr. Wallis, and Davita employees.
