Kirkland, Bessie Stimits 
 
MARSHALL -- Services for Bessie Stimits Kirkland, 87, of Marshall, 
will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, January 31, 2006, at the Colonial Chapel 
of Sullivan-Heaster Funeral Home with the Rev. Randy Babin 
officiating. Interment will be in Colonial Gardens Cemetery. Mrs. 
Kirkland died January 27, 2006, at her residence. Born September 
6, 1918, in Corrigan, she worked as an LVN in Marshall and was a 
member of Port Caddo Baptist Church. Survivors include her 
daughters, Emma Lou Van Eman and Brenda Fugler; son, Jack Kirkland; 
and sister, Ethel Lucas. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. today, January 
30, 2006, at the funeral home.
