Lovaasen, Elmer

MARSHALL -- Services for Elmer David Lovaasen, 88, of Elysian Fields, 
will be 2 p.m. Monday, November 6, 2006, at the chapel of Downs Funeral 
Home. Interment will be in Panola Mount Zion Cemetery. Mr. Lovaasen died 
November 4, 2006, at a Marshall hospital. Born February 5, 1918, in Park 
River, N.D., he served in the U.S. Army during World War II, retired from 
Union Carbide Co. and was a rancher. Survivors include his son, David A. 
Lovaasen; daughter, Rochelle Lovaasen; and brothers, Vern and Ernest
