Mayes, Oliver "Kieth" MARSHALL -- A memorial and celebration of life service for Oliver "Kieth" Mayes, 64, of Hallsville, is scheduled for 4 p.m. Monday, February 20, 2006, in the chapel of Sullivan-Heaster Funeral Home in Marshall, Texas, with the Reverend Roy D. "Buck" Lineberger officiating. Mr. Mayes passed away suddenly on February 11, 2006, in Tucker, Georgia. Kieth was born June 8, 1941, in Hobart, Oklahoma, to Charlie Ray and Inez Lewis Mayes. He attended Dill City High School in Dill City, Oklahoma, and Oklahoma State University. He served in the United States Air Force. Kieth worked as an insurance adjuster for most of his career. At the time of his death, he was employed with Crawford & Company as a catastrophe adjuster. Kieth is survived by his wife of 33 years, Sandie Smith Mayes; son and daughter-in-law, Todd and Paige Mayes; daughter and son-in-law, Stacie and Brandy McPherson; brother, Michael Lynn Mayes; father-in-law and mother-in-law, I.E. and Margie Smith; grandchildren, Cooper, Carter, and Maggie Mayes, and Hunter and Caleb McPherson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
