McFarland, Wanda Jean Croft A celebration of the life of Wanda Jean Croft McFarland, 77, of Hallsville, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 14, 2007, in the chapel of Rader Funeral Home, with Mr. Robert Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in Noonday Cemetery. Mrs. McFarland was born October 8, 1929, in Beggs, Oklahoma, to Marvin and Vesta Osborne Croft. She had been a resident of Hallsville for 66 years, coming from Beggs, Oklahoma. Mrs. McFarland was a member of the Longview Church of Christ, she graduated from Marshall High School, and was a well- known and loved school bus driver of bus No. 20 for the Hallsville Independent School District for 27 years. Mrs. McFarland was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Robert Lee McFarland Jr. She is survived by sons and spouses, Robert Lee and Sonja McFarland III of Longview, Ronald Wayne and Alice McFarland of Longview, Lonny Gene McFarland of Hallsville, Thomas and wife, Terri McFarland of Hallsville, and Gerald and Theresa McFarland of Hallsville; daughters, Linda Burditt of Hallsville, and Judy and Sam Lumadeau of Avinger; sisters, Betty McClain of Longview, and Janet Johnston-Wooten of Linden; brother, Stanley Croft of Arkansas; 18 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
