McLendon, Vondell

MARSHALL -- Services for Vondell McLendon, 83, of Marshall, 
will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, January 24, 2007, at Eastern Hills 
Church of Christ, with Donald Wayne McLendon and Steve North 
officiating. Interment will be in Colonial Gardens Cemetery. 
Arrangements are by Sullivan-Heaster Funeral Home. Mrs. 
McLendon was born July 18, 1923, in Gunter, and she died 
January 20, 2007, in Marshall. She was a bookkeeper, district 
director of TEEA, and member of Eastern Hills Church of Christ. 
Survivors include her daughters, Jo Ann North and Annette Smith; 
son, Donald Wayne McLendon; and brother, Billy Ramey. Visitation 
will be 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Online condolences
