Mollenhauer, Edward Eugene "Ed"   

MARSHALL -- Services for Edward Eugene "Ed" Mollenhauer, 79, 
of Marshall, will be 2 p.m. Monday, April 24, 2006, at the 
chapel of Downs Funeral Home of Marshall, with the Rev. 
Rodney Thomas officiating. interment will follow in Piney 
Cemetery. Mr. Mollenhauer died April 21, 2006, at his 
residence. Born September 21, 1926, in Kansas, he was a tug 
boat captain, retiring from Rio Towing of Houston in 1987. 
Survivors include his wife, Margie Lee Beaird; sons, Herman
 Mollenhauer and Julius Beaird; daughters, Rose Renae Lanier, 
Pamela Sue Mollenhauer, Christine Thompson, Naomi Beaird, Mary 
Murray and Rolinda Mollenhauer; and brother, Francis Walters. 
Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. today, April 23, at the funeral home.
