MARSHALL -- Services for Roy Montgomery Sr., 88, of Marshall, will be 
10 a.m. Wednesday, November 8, 2006, at New Bethel Baptist Church, 
with the Rev. Steve Miller officiating. Burial will be in Rosehill 
Garden Cemetery. Arrangements are by Lewis Funeral Home. Mr. Montgomery 
was born May 23, 1918, in Hallsville, and he died November 2, 2006, in 
Longview. He was a U.S. military veteran, having served during World War 
II. Survivors include his wife, Jerry F. Montgomery; and sons, Roy 
Montgomery Jr., and Kennedy Singleton.
