McClendon, Doris E.

MARSHALL - Services for Doris E. McClendon, 65, of Nash, will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, September 4, 
2007, at the chapel of Downs Funeral Home with the Rev. Morris Brock officiating. Interment 
will follow in Andrews Cemetery, near Karnack. Mrs. McClendon died August 31, 2007, in 
Texarkana.

Born February 3, 1942, in Norwood, Mass., she was a homemaker and a Lutheran. Survivors include 
her son, Tommy W. Atkison; daughter, Jackie Atkison; brothers, C.R. "Chuck" and David Lester; 
and sisters, Margaret Tullis and Edith Hull. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. today, September 3, 
2007, at the funeral home.
