Newman, Floyd 


MARSHALL -- Services for Floyd "Little Boy" Newman, 79, of Diana, 
will be 10 a.m. Friday, August 11, 2006, at Morton Baptist Church 
in Diana, with the Rev. Mike Brittain and the Rev. Craig Evers 
officiating. Interment will be in Eagle Creek Cemetery of Harleton. 
Arrangements are by Sullivan-Heaster Funeral Home. Mr. Newman died 
August 8, 2006, in Longview. Born January 3, 1927, in James, he was 
a U.S. Army veteran, retired machinist from LeTourneau, and member 
of Morton Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Betty Jean 
Newman; sons, Rickey Newman and Donnie Newman; daughters, Patricia 
Mills, Penny McMillan, and Paula Drew; and brother, Troy Lee Newman. 
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
