Newson, Joseph

MARSHALL - Services for Joseph Newson, 70, of Marshall, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, 
September 15, 2007, at Lewis Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Glen Boyd officiating. 
Burial will be in McJohnson Cemetery. Mr. Newson died September 6, 2007, in Marshall.

He was born January 17, 1937, in Brundidge, Ala. Survivors include his wife, Gloria 
Newson; sons, Tony Gooch and Dyrer Newson; daughters, Anna Dorothy, Jhagonda Newson 
and Dequiece Newson; brothers, James Newson, Roy Newson, J.K. Newson and Ray Newson; 
and sisters, Olean Hall, Minnie Spencer and Nettie Newson. Visitation will be from 
7-8 p.m. Friday, September 14, 2007, at the funeral home.
