MARSHALL -- Services for Walter D. Oney Jr., 81, of Keithville, La., 
will be 11:30 a.m. Saturday, February 25, 2006, at Colonial Chapel of 
Sullivan-Heaster Funeral Home with the Rev. George Schaetzle officiating. 
Interment will follow in Algoma Cemetery North. Mr. Oney died February 
21, 2006, in Shreveport, La. Born July 28, 1924, in Harleton, Mr. Oney 
served in the U.S. Army and was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church of 
Shreveport. Survivors include his wife, Marjorie E. Cook Oney; sons, 
Thomas W. Oney, and Emory D Oney; daughter, Nora A. Matthews. Visitation 
will be 6-8 p.m. today, February 24, at the funeral home.
