Ready, Mack

MARSHALL -- Graveside services for Mack Ready, 82, of Marshall, 
will be 2 p.m. Saturday, January 6, 2007, at Colonial Gardens 
Cemetery, with H.L. Shirey officiating. Arrangements are by 
Downs Funeral Home. Mr. Ready died January 2, 2007, in Longview. 
Born November 19, 1924 ,in West Monroe, La., he was a U.S. 
Marines Corps veteran, having served during World War II and 
Korean War, retired from Thiokol, and member of Eastern Hills 
Church of Christ. Survivors include his wife, La Verne Wilson 
Ready; son, Mitch Ready; and sister, Louise Ready Ruff. 
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Friday, January 5, 2007, at the
