Schroeder, Oscar

JEFFERSON -- Graveside services for Oscar Schroeder, 85, 
of Harleton, formerly of Beaumont, will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, 
January 16, 2007, at Oddfellows Cemetery in Anderson, with 
the Rev. David Rowland officiating. Arrangements are by 
Haggard-Heaster Funeral Home. Mr. Schroeder died January 12, 
2007, in Jefferson. Born January 23, 1921, in Anderson, he 
served in the U.S. Army during World War II and worked as an 
equipment operator for Gulf Oil Corp. in Port Arthur for 25 
years. Survivors include his wife, Genevieve Lott Schroeder; 
daughter, Claudia Verde; and sister, Myrtle Thane.
