Simmons Jr., Brooksie 

MARSHALL -- Services for Brooksie Simmons Jr., 67, of 
Marshall, will be 11 a.m. Saturday, August 26, 2006, at 
Memorial CME Church, with the Rev. Diana Casteel 
officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Gardens Cemetery. 
Arrangements are by Lewis Funeral Home. Mr. Simmons died 
August 21, 2006, in Marshall. He was born February 22, 
1939, in Shreveport, La. Survivors include his wife, 
Charline Bolden Simmons; son, Bronte Simmons; daughter, 
Angela Simmons Clark; brothers, Robert Simmons, Charles 
Simmons, James Simmons, and Joseph Simmons; and sister, 
Audrey Simmons Cato.
