Slocum Sr., Floyd Lee

MARSHALL -- Memorial services for Floyd Lee Slocum Sr., 77, 
will be 1 p.m. Saturday, December 16, 2006, at Long Creek 
Baptist Church at 501 Long Creek Road in Mesquite. Arrangements 
are by Meadowbrook Funeral Home. Mr. Slocum died December 12, 
2006, in Marshall. Born December 25, 1928, in Dallas, he 
enjoyed fishing and hunting, and was a member of Newman Park 
Baptist Church. Survivors include his sons, Floyd Slocum Jr., 
Gerald Slocum, and Randy Slocum; daughter, Sheila Tyler; and 
brothers, Jerry Slocum and Leon Slocum.
