Swafford, Clifford C. 


MARSHALL -- Services for Clifford C. Swafford, 87, of Mount Pleasant, 
will be 2 p.m. Thursday, February 9, 2006, at Colonial Chapel of 
Sullivan-Heaster Funeral Home, with the Rev. Mike Kessler officiating. 
Interment will follow in Colonial Gardens Cemetery. Mr. Swafford died 
February 5, 2006, in Mount Pleasant. Born February 2, 1919, in Marshall, 
he was a U.S. Air Force veteran, having served during World War II, 
member of Central Baptist Church, and worked for Morton Thiokol. 
Survivors include his daughter, Paula Shortnacy; sisters, Elaine Hearne 
and Mary Ruth Allen; and brothers, Glen Swafford, Vernon Swafford, and 
Ernest Swafford. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
